Smart Fibres Monitor Health of Greek Schools after Earthquakes
February 2008

Smart Fobres Monitor Health of Greek Schools after Earthquakes Over two hundred SmartPatch sensors and several instruments have been supplied to our Greek Partners H&S Technology Solutions SA for a collaborative project in the Municipality of Hellinikon.

The project aims to monitor the structural status of 5 Critical Buildings of Public Interest in Hellinikon (1st and 2nd High School, 1st Elementary, 3rd Elementary, 4th Elementary and Multihall). Data is collected and sent directly to the Technical Department of the Municipality for corrective actions of maintenance planning. In addition, part of the data is presented in the Project Web Site, in order to inform Citizens about the structural health of the specific buildings.
